Vigna alla Sughera by I mandorli was born from Sangiovese grapes grown in Belvedere di Suvereto, from 1.60ha Vineyard called Alla Sughera, located at 300 mt above sea level and exposed to the south-east; all around, the vineyard is surrounded by myrtle and brooms. In the cellar it follows normal winemaking procedures like stemming and crushing grapes, followed by maceration and fermentation that are activated by natural yeasts in concrete vats(30 hl) for 2-3 weeks. It follows the aging in large oak barrels(16hl) for 18 months. Before bottling, wine rests 1-2 months in cement vats .
