Produced from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the thirty-five-year-old vineyards owned by the "Citric" Beppe Rinaldi; the soils are composed of the typical clay-limestone marl of the Langhe at an average altitude of 300 m / slm. After fermentation the wine is left to macerate on the skins, followed by aging in oak barrels for 18 months.
Historical company of Barolo with centuries-old tradition cleverly managed by Beppe "Citrico" Rinaldi: winemaker, artist and poet. The small-sized company owns 6.50 hectares of its own vineyard harvested in the renowned Cannubi San Lorenzo, Ravera, Brunate and Le Coste cruis; in a completely natural and traditional way the native Nebbiolo, Barbera, Freisa, Ruchè and Dolcetto grapes are cultivated. In the cellar the vinification operations are traditional, with long macerations on the skins and refining in large barrels. The wines are deep and visceral, a faithful mirror of traditional Langa and with a strong "natural" inspiration, with a light volatile to support and elevate the soul of the wine. Recently Beppe Rinaldi is assisted by his daughters Marta and Carlotta.
