The company is young but of ancient wine-making origins. It was in fact in 1888 that the great-grandfather Giacomo Anfosso replanted the Poggio Pini vineyard in Soldano. Some of those plants still exist. There the Rossese di Dolceacqua Superiore of the Anfosso estate is born.
In 2002, with his wife Marisa he decided to embark on an adventure in the world of wine and took over the management of the vineyards from their father Luciano.
Today the company covers about 42,000 square meters, of which 13,000 square meters. in Soldano in the locality of Poggio Pini. Another 29000 sqm. of vineyards are found in the Municipality of San Biagio della Cima in the Luvaira area.
The vines are cultivated with effort and sweat. The wine is born on cliffs between the sea and the mountains, with steep slopes, in bands held up by dry stone walls where the work of man is constant and mechanization is zero.
It takes passion and love for a land so hard but which in the meantime manages to give great satisfaction in the quality of its grapes and wines.
