The Domaine Bizot was born in 1994 when Jean-Yves, at the end of geology studies, decided to take up the family business in Vosne-Romanée, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. In the renowned Village of Burgundy Domain Bizot have parcels of old vines that would make anyone envious. Corporate style provides vinifications whole cluster without use of sulphites, no replacement nor temperarure control; in the vineyard are banned chemicals and synthetic, while they are clearly visible meticulousness and passion in looking after the environment. In the cellar all parcels are vinified separately, favoring the characteristics of terroir; after the harvest, the grapes are de-stemmed not macerated without sulfur dioxide. The fermentations have a duration of 15-20 days after which the wines are raised in small barrels for 15-20 months depending on the denomination or dell'annatamesi; Then the wine is aged in glass without undergoing fining or filtration.
The wines of the Domaine Bizot are rare and almost impossible to find, very few are produced and sought after bottles; generally they are wines to wait at least 5 years old to enjoy them in all their glory, even the simplest Appelation Village has bisongo a cellar luster to reach their full potential.
