Corte Sant'Alda rises in Mezzane di Sotto in the heart of Valpolicella, is led by the energetic Marinella Camerani which step by step has been able to revolutionize the way of making wine in the region, experiencing since the beginning of her work the Biodynamic Viticulture and promoting full respect of environment and consumers. Conversion of vineyards naturalness began in 1985 when Marinella has felt the need, after a bad harvest, to do something to bring the grapes ripe and healthy to the cellar. In the vineyard the form of initial breeding was gradually overtaken by Guyot. The concept of naturalness and respect for natural processes is also well outlined in the cellar and in the wine making process: Marinella believes that the cellar is a place of passages, where, simply, grapes transformed into wine continues its life, it is therefore prohibited any type of artifice, selected yeasts as well as filtration or clarification. Therefore we can say that Corte Sant'Alda wines totally reflect the personality and spontaneity of those who raise them: precise wines, personal, outside the usual patterns of many standard wines of Valpolicella.
