In 1992 Carlo Colombera decided to purchase the Cottignano farmhouse with the intention of producing wine. Carlo himself, Giacomo's father, worked for Antoniolo as a tractor driver and little by little according to availability, he bought other vineyards around the Cascina including 5 hectares of vineyards in the municipality of Roasio and 1 hectare in the municipality of Lessona until 2001; after various tests, he produced his first wine labeled. In 2010, on the other hand, after studying oenology in Alba, Giacomo, his son and Cristiano Garella joined the company and was the oenologist in the past of Tenute Sella. The intent was to help Carlo to give better fineness to the wines since the potential of the grapes is high. Today the company cultivates 8 hectares of vineyards divided in the municipalities of Masserano, Lessona and Roasio.
