The Bellets hold the title of Barons from 1777 when the sovereign of the Kingdom of Sardinia granted the title to the family. They settled in the area above Nice and gave their name to the name that in 2011 turned 70, becoming one of the oldest AOCs in France. The family chapel built in homage to Agnes Roissard de Bellet is in a predominant position. The company's vineyards surround the building and are located at an average height of 200 meters. The altitude and breezes from the sea help produce very elegant and refined wines so much so that Château de Bellet supplied its products at the wedding of Prince Albert of Monaco and Princess Charlene.
The vineyards of Château de Bellet extend over the hills of Nice, dominating the blue of the Mediterranean. In the background you can see the panorama of the Alps and the Var valley. The vineyard, situated at an altitude (250-300 meters) enjoys sunshine for 2700 hours a year.
