Auguste Sipp founded his wine business at the end of the First World War. The first vineyards were acquired by grandmother Louise and at the same time the first tanks are also purchased, some of which are still in use today. Starting from 1962 Louis and Pierre, sons of Auguste, largely rethought the use of vineyards by shifting production towards more qualitative grape varieties such as Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Grigio and new vineyards were added to the initial property. Today the company is expertly run by Etienne, Pierre's son, who carries on the traditions of the three generations that preceded him.
