The Savart family owns 6 hectares of vineyards and produces Champagne in Ecueil, a very quiet village located in the northwestern part of the Montagne de Reims, and in Villers-aux-Noeuds . The company was founded after the Second World War with René Savart; in the 70s the rudder changed hands to his son Daniel, who produced only one wine: the Brut Selection. Currently the entire production, from the vineyard to the winery is run by Frédéric Savart (son of Daniel), he has given a real boost of energy, and new, actively working to make the Champagne Savart sought after and appreciated around the world. The cultivated varieties are Pinot Noir (4ha) and Chardonnay (2Ha) out of a total of six hectares of vineyard classified Premier Cru. The approach of Savart, when it comes to the vine and wine, is intended to preserve the expression of the purest nature as possible, the company philosophy can be summed up in one sentence: "The best Champagne made using the best grapes." For this reason in the vineyard they prefer manual work and grants the utmost respect to the ecosystem in which the screw lives. In the winery, the vinification and aging wine is seen as a natural consequence of the natural processes that transforms healthy grapes for great wines.
