Chianti Colli Fiorentini DOCG by Agricola Ottomani comes from 90% Sangiovese grapes and 10% Canaiolo, grown in vineyards owned in Impruneta, a town far 15 km south from Florence. The farm Ottomani was founded in 2006 by the project of four friends who, after earning a degree in Enology and gained experience in major companies, have decided to "go alone" building their own small company to produce wine and olive oil. The vineyards and winery are located in Impruneta, in the Province of Florence, and fall in the Chianti DOCG designation. Oenological choices provide the cultivation is only native grapes and the use of organic-biodynamic farming and winemaking techniques. Consequently all fertilizers and chemical pesticides are bandits; in the vineyard they operate exclusively with agronomic methods "sustainable" for the environment. The company offers three labels of red and white and it is also present a magnificent Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Wines are immediate, fresh, "easy to drink" in the fullness of their spatial expression.
