Joško Gravner is a winemaker from Oslavia, a small fraction of Gorizia which lies on the eastern slopes of the Collio. His professional experience and life saw a career start based on his exuberance and the desire to split the world, trying and using all types of technology served to viticulture. Slowly the advice of his father made inroads into Joško thoughts, so much so that over time he has been deprived of everything not deemed extremely necessary for the production of wine. So it was that the steel barrels, the barrels and other modern technology "went out" from the cellar located in Lenzuolo Bianco. In addition to wine-making techniques, in recent years we have seen the total abandonment of vines not appropriate in its Terroir including Chardonnay. The 16 hectares of organically cultivated vineyards were gradually all converted to tree; in the vineyard are bandits all synthetic products and all processing is done manually. The importance is given to listening to the plant, careful to understand the requirements of the same and to prevent diseases. In the cellar in recent years he has caught the fermentation of the grapes in earthenware amphorae from the Caucasus, from which derives the name of its wines. Its wines are far from any fashion or being "a guide wine."
