Champagne Jacques Copin

Winegrowers from father to son, in Verneuil and Vandieres, for more than a century.

At the end of the 19th century, Alfred Copin decided to cultivate the vine. In 1903 he bought half a hectare of vineyards in the Vandières terroir. A few years later, the sons Maurice Brion and Auguste Copin, born respectively in Verneuil and Vandieres in 1907 and 1909, decided to continue in this direction. They planted the first vines of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and above all Meunier, the estate's favorite grape variety, on the slopes of the Val Marna hills. His son Jacques then developed the Maison accompanied by his wife Anne-Marie from 1963 in Verneuil. It was then that the Champagne Jacques Copin brand was created.

In 1995 Jacques' son, accompanied by my wife Marielle, decided to continue the tradition of the Copin estate and to take over its management.

Today Bruno Copin is proud to have taken on this responsibility, to pass on his knowledge since 2013 to his two sons, Lucile and Mathieu, and to offer their great Champagnes, full of history, emotions, values and above all pleasures and passions.
