Today the company works a vineyard of over 9 hectares divided into 34 plots in the terroirs of Verneuil, Vandieres and Try-Dormans. Each vine is cultivated with intelligence and respect for the environment, without herbicides and with over 95% organic products, a guarantee of sustainability for our planet. By combining organic and biodynamic cultivation practices, as well as ancestral and sustainable methods, we experiment and work daily to guarantee an authentic, rich and unadorned expression of our grapes. The cold was intense in February with average minimum temperatures around -4 ° C. This endless winter lasted until April. To this were added heavy rains that hit the vineyard until 21 July. Then, balanced sunny days allowed a perfect ripening of the grapes until the harvest. The grapes, this year small, are harvested in perfect sanitary conditions. Lucile, Mathieu and Bruno have selected the most beautiful grapes with a perfect and almost unexpected phenolic balance! The yields are half the usual (from 6,000 to 7,000 kilos per hectare) on the plots concerned. But the quality ... fabulous!
In the glass it appears with a beautiful pale straw yellow, brilliant and crystalline, with a subtle and persistent perlage. On the olfactory examination it is delicate with ample and complex hints, creamy and sweet on the one hand, set on memories of ripe pineapple and apricots, subsequently enriched with citrus nuances of lemon, references to dried fruit and memories of yeast and bread-making. The mouth is pleasant and round, of extreme balance and excellent length.
