We are in Torano Nuovo (TE), the 10Ha of vineyards that give life to the splendid grapes of this Montepulciano d'Abruzzo are located in various farms gathered around the owned cellar, all with south-east exposure; the composition of the soil is of a medium-textured clayey type. The breeding is both in awning (age 40 years) and in rows: the leaves of the awning protect the bunches when it is too hot while the rows let the soil breathe when it rains a lot. The yield is around 90-100q / Ha, the plants are treated only with natural products: mine sulfur and copper water and practically non-existent processing with the aim of preserving biodiversity. The grapes are de-stemmed by hand in wooden vats, fermentation takes place in vitrified concrete tanks of 22 and 30 Hl (excluding the use of selected yeasts or other manipulations). Bottling is done by hand with siphon and cane cinnamon, excluding clarification and filtration.
Wine with excellent evolutionary abilities.
Taste it at a temperature of 16-18 °, combined with large elaborate meat dishes; let's open it in advance.
