It was born from Nebbiolo grapes harvested in Castiglione Falletto, in cru Parussi. The average age of the vines is 55 years old, trained by the traditional Guyot; the density per hectare is 5,000 vines/haand the yield amounts to about 45 q/ha. The grapes are harvested in the second half of October. In the cellar the wine is made with fermentation and maceration for 15-20 days at a temperature ranging between 31 and 33°C. It is aged for 30 months in oak barrels and then rests one year in the bottle before being released for sale.
