wine description
Pingus 2017 was born in Spain, in the DO Ribera del Duero. Tempranillo grapes are grown on old sapling vines; in the vineyard the dictates of Biodynamic Agriculture are practiced and during the harvest a strict selection of the grapes is carried out. In the cellar the fermentations are completely natural, therefore carried out with only indigenous yeasts: this practice allows for better pigmentation and greater aromas. The maceration and fermentation process lasts about 20 days and then the wines are placed in barrels for malolactic fermentation, where they are left to rest between 20 and 23 months. The wine is neither filtered nor clarified.
