The Langhe Rosso DOC 2014 of Roagna is born in the owned vineyards located between the area of Serralunga d'Alba (Rocche del Falletto) and that of Barbaresco (Pajè); the exposures are the best and range from South-East to South-West. In the vineyard, the agronomic philosophy can be defined as natural as it is in the cellar. The hand-picked grapes are pressed and de-stemmed, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature in wooden vats with 40-day maceration. The wine is aged in large barrels for 3 years and in bottles for several months.
Intense ruby red color with garnet reflections, notes of ripe red fruit, pepper and anise are very evident on the nose. In the mouth it is balanced and full, with a very long and persistent finish.
Wine with an aging potential of over 30 years.
Taste it at a temperature of 18 ° C combined with guinea fowl truffled in foil.
