Roagna's Langhe Rosso DOC 2014 in its own vineyards located between the area of Serralunga d'Alba (Rocche del Falletto) and that of Barbaresco (Pajè). It is a wine that Roagna has "created" for a younger and more carefree consumption than its Barbaresco and Barolo, in fact the macerations and refinements have been reduced compared to the other wines of the company. This does not detract from its importance, tannic structure, longevity and adherence to the wine.

wine description

The Langhe Rosso DOC 2014 of Roagna is born in the owned vineyards located between the area of Serralunga d'Alba (Rocche del Falletto) and that of Barbaresco (Pajè); the exposures are the best and range from South-East to South-West. In the vineyard, the agronomic philosophy can be defined as natural as it is in the cellar. The hand-picked grapes are pressed and de-stemmed, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature in wooden vats with 40-day maceration. The wine is aged in large barrels for 3 years and in bottles for several months.
