The vineyards are located on the top of the vineyard and are a few meters from the shop-house where Teobaldo Rivella and his wife, expertly following the vintage, give us a Dolcetto d'Alba of fine quality: the grapes harvested were vinified in steel only, through the use of indigenous yeasts and 5-day maceration on the skins.

CLIMAte

2015 began with a winter characterized by abundant snowfall which ensured the accumulation of an excellent water reserve. A spring with mild temperatures favored an advance of the vegetative cycle which lasted for the whole. The subsequent period was marked by a tendentially dry climate and temperatures above the historical average until the end of August. The heat did not affect the ripening of the grapes in the least, thanks also to the water reserves in the soil.

tasting notes

Dolcetto di Rivella is deep ruby ruby red. The nose is elegant, with hints of cherry and violet. On the palate it is full and balanced, with tannins mixed in the mass and a nice spicy finish.
