The geological characteristics that characterize this vineyard are the so-called ARENARIE DI DIANO, which originated in Elveziano from sub-marine turbid currents. This Barolo is made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Castellero Vineyard in Barolo, consisting of 40.0% sand, 33.0% silt, and 27.0% clay; the exposure of the vines is south and the altitude is 300 meters above sea level. In the vineyard, the counter-espalier is used as a training system, the plant density is 3,700 plants / ha with 1m x 2,7 m sixths.
