Chateau Tour des Termes 2012 is a wine that is produced in about 100,000 bt / year and grows on soils 2/3 rich in stones and 1/3 limestone clay. The usual proportions are 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. The vinification takes place for 80% of the mass in the traditional way while 20% of the bunches are vinified integrally. The wine is then aged for 15 months in Allier barriques of which 50% are new.
Beautiful dark purple color, the nose has aromas of black fruit, spices, hints of meat. On the palate it is dense and balanced, with a nice tannic texture, a flexible and balanced wine with well integrated tannins and delicious on the finish.
Wine with very good evolutionary prospects.
Taste it at a temperature of 18 ° C, accompanying red meat dishes.
