We are north of Montalcino: in the 6 hectares of vineyards located south / south-west of the Montòsoli hill and at an altitude of 280 meters above sea level the Rosso di Montalcino 2017 of the Baricci family is produced. In the vineyard there is no use of any chemical substance and the vegetative balance of the plants is preserved to the maximum, without any forcing. The Sangiovese grape, harvested by hand, ferments for 20 days in stainless steel (use of indigenous yeasts only) and rises in Slavonian oak barrels of 20 and 40 hectoliters for a year.

Tasting Notes
Bright ruby red color, the nose is intense with hints of small fresh fruits and light black cherry. In the mouth it is harmonically dry, it has strength and freshness with an elegant aromatic persistence.
Aging Capacity
Wine with very good evolutionary prospects.
SMALL TIPS
Taste it at a temperature of 16 ° -18 °, accompanying pasta dishes with meat sauce, soups, roasted red and white meats, scottiglia and Tuscan salami.
