Giovanni Montisci's Barrosu is produced from Cannonau grapes grown in Barbagia from 65-year-old vines. It is the Cannonau of the company that in the 2016 vintage consists of 6000 bt. It was the wine from which Giovanni Montisci started in his production. In the vineyard the training system used is the sapling and the yields are around 40 q / ha; the agronomic practices used can be traced back to the concept of naturalness and organic viticulture. The manual harvest took place in October; after soft pressing, the wine ferments and ages for 24 months in 40Hl barrels, the duration of the pre-fermentative maceration is 35 days. There is no filtration and before marketing it rests in the bottle.
