Wine description

Born from Pinot Noir grapes grown and grown in the Les Beaux Monts parcel owned by 1.70 hectares with vines 40 years old in the municipality of Vosnee Romanée. The vinification involves a manual harvesting and complete destemming. A cold pre-fermentation period follows between 3 and 5 days which anticipates the actual fermentation which lasts about 15-20 days where daily replacements are made. The wines are aged in oak barrels (new at around 50%) for a period ranging from 15 to 18 months depending on the vintage. A wine with a red color with violet reflections, the nose turns to hints of spice, in the mouth we find ample wine with silky tannins with a good final stretch.

Tasting Notes

Brilliant ruby red to the eye. Refined and variegated nose that tells of cherry, currant and wild fruit, nutmeg, leather and truffle. In the mouth the synergy between tannin and acidity is perfect, making it elegant and persistent.

Aging capacity

Wine with good aging potential (8-10 years).

Small tips

Taste it at a temperature of 16 ° -18 ° C combined with lamb.
