Great wine produced from Nebbiolo grapes harvested in the renowned Crù Brunate composed of tufaceous and clay-limestone soils. In the vineyard the agronomic philosophy is "natural" without any official certification: we do not practice either weeding or chemical fertilizers, we do not push the vigor of the plant and the vintage is indulged and accompanied until the harvest.

wine description

Great wine made from Nebbiolo grapes harvested in the renowned Crù Brunate (or Brunate), composed of tufaceous and clay-limestone soils. In the vineyard the agronomic philosophy is "natural" without any official certification: we do not practice either weeding or chemical fertilizers, we do not push the vigor of the plant and the vintage is indulged and accompanied until the harvest. The harvest is manual; in the cellar cement tanks are used for fermentation, the same is done with indigenous yeasts and the pumping over twice a day. Once the fermentation is complete, the wine is left to macerate on the skins for a couple of additional weeks (soaking on the skins lasts for 30 to 50 days)
The refinement takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels for 42 months, followed by a further period of rest in the commercial glass.

tasting notes

Of a perfect and typical garnet color. The sense of smell is very expressive, it gives us a bouquet of excellent quality played on the floral-citrus which, in this juvenile phase, puts aromas of red fruit and laurel in the background. Mouth with high acidity, the tannin is alive and pounding and cohabits with alcohol and a quality extract; aristocratic and elegant, classic as only the great Barolos of Rinaldi can be.

aging capacity

Wine capable of evolving well for many years.

small tips

Taste it at a temperature of 16 ° -18 ° C combined with roast lamb
