It comes from Pinot Noir grapes grown and grown in the owned vineyards located in the Municipality of Gevrey-Chambertin. It offers hints typical of the denomination in which it grows and represents it with elegance. In the mouth there is a solid body, while the feminine component of Sylvie Esmonin's wines is still present, all played on the elegance and sharpness of the fruit. Sapid and mineral finish. in the vineyard a natural and little interventionist viticulture is practiced. The soils are of a very draining mixed type with the presence of clay mixed with fossils (oysters and sea lilies) and the area enjoys excellent and if not high ventilation especially in summer evenings. The harvest is manual and allows the harvest of perfectly healthy and well ripe grapes; in the cellar fermentation is activated only by indigenous yeasts.
Purple red. The nose reveals itself, immediately, pleasantly broad; in particular, the small red fruits dominate, above all the cherry. On the palate it is soft, with a pleasant flavor, good volume and fine tannins.
Wine to drink with some room for improvement.
Taste it at a temperature of 16 ° -18 ° C. Excellent in combination with first courses of meat, it also goes very well with white meats; it is to be tried with woodcock croutons.
