wine description

It comes from Pinot Noir grapes. The parcels of the estate are located next to the most prestigious vineyards of the Côte de Beaune, in the villages of Mercurey, Meursault and Pommard. The clayey and silty soil on marl. The clayey content of the soil allows to obtain rich and aromatic wines. In the vineyard Armand Heitz applies the dictates of biodynamic agriculture. In the cellar the vinification is carried out in the most natural and traditional way possible, using indigenous yeasts for spontaneous fermentations lasting 15-20 days. The wine ages in small barrels for 17 months; a further rest in glass follows without undergoing clarification or filtration. Use of new wood for a maximum of 25%.
