The Domaine Follin-Arbelet is located in Burgundy, in the center of the village of Aloxe-Corton. The company was born recently, but the owner, Frank Follin-Arbelet, descends from an ancient Aloxe-Corton family. After his studies in geology, Frank Follin-Arbelet, decides to devote himself to viticulture, first with a small rented parcel, then expands the business by buying numerous vineyards.

wine description

This plot of 0.4 hectares, located on the southern flank of the CORTON hill, in the climat "Le Charlemagne", is cultivated with Pinot Noir and therefore cannot assume the name CORTON CHARLEMAGNE reserved for white wine. This white terroir, of ocher clayey marl, gives this wine great elegance, a lot of finesse and complexity. The always harmonious tannins are ripe and silky. A wine of appreciable pleasure from an early age (3-15 years).

tasting notes

It is a pinot noir with an intense ruby color. Clean and fresh on the nose, with hints of cassis and licorice. It is a full and powerful wine with a slightly minty aftertaste. Long is the persistence, it never ends.

aging capacity

Wine with great aging potential.

small tips

Taste it at a temperature of 16 ° -18 ° C. Enjoy with red meat main courses, game
