The refinement lasts 36 months in 20/25 hl oak barrels and in 2.25 hl medium toasted second passage French barriques followed by a variable period of between 6 and 8 months of refinement in the bottle before being marketed.
Intense ruby red color that tends to garnet with aging. Its perfume is broad, persistent with hints of undergrowth, red jams and licorice, ethereal after a long aging. It has a dry, quite tannic and soft flavor.
