It comes from Pinot Noir grapes grown and grown in Chambolle-Musigny in the 0.12 ha that Domaine Drouhin-Laroze owns in the Grand Cru Musigny. The Musigny Grand Cru 2018 shows a beautiful ruby-garnet color. On the nose we find aromas of cassis, flowers, spices and light vanilla. On the palate it is ample, robust in its structure and endowed with a champion length. In this wine we have a meeting between remarkable elegance and finesse with a well controlled tannin. The soils are very thin (about 40cm) and very rich in stone. Pinot Noir is vinified through maceration of 25 days with spontaneous fermentations; subsequently the wine matures in new oak barrels with personalized toasting whose wood comes from a selection of the best forests of Allier and Nivernais.
