This excellent Barbera d'Alba by Giuseppe Cortese is born in the Trifolera area, in Barbaresco; it is produced with the best Barbera grapes grown in the Morassina vineyard. The vineyard faces South-South-West. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at controlled temperatures without exceeding the values of 30-32 ° for a duration of 18-20 days. The refinement is carried out for about 18 months in small 225 liter barrels, 30% new and 70% second and third passage; it then rests for 6 months in the bottle before being put on the market.
Impenetrable ruby red, with deep purple reflections. It is vinous and intense on the nose, and maintains clear fruity hints that blend harmoniously with the hints given by the aging in wood. It is dry and full-bodied on the palate, with a delicate and velvety finish.
Wine capable of evolving well even for ten years.
Taste it at a temperature of 16 ° -18 ° C. Wine for all meals, it accompanies the complete menus of the land cuisine. Perfect with agnolotti with meat sauce.

The first of the three ridges that descend from the Tre Stelle side towards the Martinenga, the mention Trifolera has never been used on a label of a Barbaresco until today. Moreover, there are few quality positions comparable to the best in this sector, which also justifies the greater presence of vines such as Dolcetto and Barbera.
