It comes from Pinot Noir grapes from vines from a small plot of 0.51 hectares. The parcels of the estate are located next to the most prestigious vineyards of the Côte de Beaune, in the village of Meursault. The clayey and silty soil on marl. The clayey content of the soil allows to obtain rich and aromatic wines. In the vineyard Domaine Henri Germain et Fils applies the dictates of organic farming. In the cellar, vinification is carried out in the most natural and traditional way possible, using indigenous yeasts for spontaneous fermentation in open wooden vats for a duration of at least 12 days. The wine ages for 10/12 months in medium toasted oak barrels.
Ruby red, on the nose it expresses beautiful notes of small red fruits embellished with continuous references of cocoa and tobacco. On the palate it is rich, fresh, tasty, characterized by an excellent gustatory dynamics and a finish of good persistence.
Wine with good aging prospects.
Taste it at a temperature of 16 ° C. It goes well with fresh cheeses, cured meats and appetizers and noble poultry.
