It comes from Pinot Noir grapes grown in Chambolle Musigny, in the 0.11 hectares of vineyards facing south / east; here the vines (average age 38 years) rest on clayey-calcareous soils with deep soils belonging to the Batonian period. In the vineyard herbicides and chemical products are banned, a "natural" viticulture is practiced. The harvest is manual; the vinification involves the use of de-stemmed bunches with natural fermentations and long macerations. The refinement takes place in pièce for a duration of 18 months.
Winter 2016-17 is consistent with our continental climate with its alternations of freezing and thawing that allow the earth to decompose and eliminate some microorganisms.Spring is very early with very mild temperatures in March which favor an accelerated growth of screws. In the glass it shows a beautiful ruby red color with purple reflections in the glass. The nose is at the same time floral, with notes of violets, and fruity with small red berries.
