It comes from Pinot Noir grapes grown and grown in Vougeot in the hectare of vineyards that the Domaine Drouhin-Laroze owns in the Grand Cru Clos Vougeot. Clos Vougeot Grand Cru AOC 2019 has a beautiful deep red color, with aromas ranging from black fruit to licorice and spices, enhanced by woody notes and touches of leather. The tannins of this grand cru, intense, powerful and precise, precede a long finish. The plots "Plante l'Abbé" and "Quartier de Marei Haut" are in the western part of the Grand Cru. These two plots separated by a small road were planted in 1976, 1989 and 2007. Pinot Noir is vinified by maceration for 25 days with spontaneous fermentation; subsequently the wine was transferred to new pieces at 80% where it was aged for 18 months and then bottled. Only indigenous yeasts are used.
