It comes from Pinot Noir grapes grown in Nantoux, on an area of 0.5 hectares of vineyards owned and classified as Hautes-Côtes de Beaune AOC; here the vines with at least 40 years of age rest on clayey-calcareous soils with deep soils belonging to the Batonian period.

Wine description

This vine is a particular selection of the Domaine. With a beautiful exposure, it produces grapes of great maturity every year. The harvest is manual, with selection of the best grapes; the vinification foresees total destemming and subsequent placing in terracotta amphora for about 15 days. Then follows the refinement for 12 months always in terracotta amphorae

Tasting notes

It shows a splendid ruby color, lively, brilliant. The nose reveals aromas of fresh fruit (Strawberries, Peach). On the palate it is fruity, pleasant, crunchy.

Aging capacity

Wine with moderate aging potential.

Small tips

Taste it at a temperature of 16 ° C paired with ribs and also special as an aperitif.
