It comes from Pinot Noir grapes grown in Nantoux, on an area of 0,61 hectares of vineyards owned and classified as Beaune 1er Cru AOC; here the vines with at least 40 years of age rest on clayey-calcareous soils with deep soils belonging to the Batonian period.

Wine description

This vine is a particular selection of the Domaine. With a beautiful exposure, it produces grapes of great maturity every year. The harvest is manual, with selection of the best grapes; The grapes are placed in vats for about 15 days (about 30% in whole clusters). Then follows the refinement in French oak barrels for 12 months.

Tasting notes

It shows a splendid deep and bright red color. The nose reveals aromas of red fruits (raspberry and blackberry) and some spicy notes (licorice). On the palate it is crunchy, decisive and structured.

Aging capacity

Wine with good aging potential.

Small tips

Taste it at a temperature of 16 ° C combined with rabbit with mustard and poultry.
