It comes from Pinot Noir grapes grown in Nantoux, on an area of 1,4 hectares of vineyards owned and classified as Pommard AOC; here the vines with at least 35 years of age rest on clayey-calcareous soils with deep soils belonging to the Batonian period.
Wine description
This vine is a particular selection of the Domaine. With a beautiful exposure, it produces grapes of great maturity every year. The harvest is manual, with selection of the best grapes; The grapes are placed in vats for about 15 days (about 20% in whole clusters). Then follows the refinement in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Tasting notes
It shows a splendid deep red, ruby color. The nose reveals aromas of blackberry, blueberry or more gooseberry aromas. On the palate the attack is powerful, tannic.
