Aloxe-Corton is a small town of about 170 inhabitants located in the heart of the Cote d'Or. The screws face east. The wines from the north end are more tender and fruity while those from the south end are more solid and complex. The pebbly soil favors soft and thoroughbred wines, while the clay and marl generate firmness and complexity.

Cultivation of vines
The vines are grown organically and a simple guyot pruning is used. All the work in the vineyard is done by hand. The vines are planted at a density of 10,000 plants per hectare.
Tasting notes
Ruby, with garnet-colored reflections. The nose expresses itself, in particular, with hints of raspberry, strawberry, black currant and blackberry. On the palate it is full-bodied, well articulated, velvety in tannins and excellent persistence.
