Château du Rouët is located in the heart of Provence where the variegated and harmonious colors of the countryside blend with the green of the vineyards. The area is strongly suited to the production of rose wines with a fraction of grapes destined for red and white vinification.
Wine Description

The Château du Rouët is located at the foot of the red rocks on the first buttresses of the Estérel. From the espalier vineyards you can glimpse the Roman city of Fréjus.

Tasting Notes

1840 Rosè shows a delicate salmon color. The nose is intense with hints of berries: black currant, raspberry. Fruity and elegant on the palate, characterized by fresh fruit. On the palate it is concentrated in a decisive way, offering aromas of bitter cherry that develops very slowly in the back half. A touch of white pepper adds a spicy cut of closure.

Aging Capacity

Wine to be enjoyed in youth.

Small Tips

Taste it at a temperature of 10 ° C. Ideal as an aperitif and fish snacks.
