wine description

The terroirs of Louis SIPP are found in the field of Ribeauvillé fracture. They constitute a structure of highly fragmented geological compartments. These are mainly hard limestones, clays and marls of Lias and Triassic, sandstone clays, limestone and calcium conglomerates of Oligocene. There are also loamy deposits of clay and stony glacis of sand and floods in the valley and in the plain. The PINOT charts that have been used to create this crémant are:
- in heavy and deep soils (Sulz) that give grapes with high maturity,
- on the previous slopes overlooking the Kirchberg (Rengelsbrunn) for the structure of the wine.

tasting notes

Straw yellow at sight, with delicate golden flashes and creamy and long-lasting perlage. The nose is punctual and classic, guided by hints of yellow flowers and yellow pulp fruit, then complemented by notes of yeast, bread crust and custard. The sip is fresh and compact, smooth, balanced and persistent. The great strength of this wine is given by its power and balance brought about thanks to organic agriculture.
