The Langhe Bianco Doc 2019 by Cascina Ballarin has a consistent straw yellow color and presents a pineapple, lemon cream, hazelnut and thyme fragrance; it is full, fresh, sapid and balanced on the palate. The blend is mainly composed of Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and only a small percentage of Favorita, which gives the wine a touch of acidity. In the glass the wine moves slowly and shows an excellent consistency forming slow and abundant tears on the walls of the glass. On the nose we perceive hints of ripe fruit, herbaceous notes and definite whiffs of aromatic herbs (thyme and rosemary) while on the palate we meet a full wine with good acidity and flavor to revive the sip.
