It comes from Chardonnay grapes grown and grown in the estate vineyards planted in 1978 bordering the Village appellation (Nuits Saint Georges “les Argilats”), located in the hills (Vosne Romanée side) on very calcareous soils facing south. The calcareous soil gives this wine a good length much more than one would expect for this appellation. The vines are cultivated according to the dictates of Biodynamics; In the cellar the natural processes of vinification are supported through spontaneous fermentation and limited interventions; the wine ages in pieces for 18 months before being put on the market.
In the glass it is announced with a beautiful straw yellow color, with some very light reflections more tending to gold. On the nose, delicate floral sensations are perceived first, which then open up, later on, to more mineral touches and fruity hints. In the mouth it has a light body tending to medium, enveloping thanks to a large sip, which flows with punctuality.
Ready to drink wine with some room for improvement.
Taste it at a temperature of 10 ° -12 ° C. Excellent with scallops placed on a saffron cream; it is also worth trying with turkey main courses, cooked with light preparations.
