WINE DESCRIPTION

Produced from Chardonnay grapes grown organically, in the 0.50Ha vineyard classified Premier Cru Clos des Murées, to Chassagne Montrachet. In the cellar the wines of Domaine Fontaine Gagnard are vinified in the traditional way, through the performance of alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in a Burgundian piece, the wooden heightening lasts one year, of which 25/30% are new. The vines of this monopole were planted in 1970 and 1971 on very low and limestone-rich soils near the church, just below Clos Saint-Jean: notes of ripe peach, mandarin, ginger. This wine is always flattering and elegant, "Fontaine noted." He is rich even in a few years. "

TASTING NOTES

AGING CAPACITY

Wine with excellent aging potential.

SMALL TASTING TIPS

Taste it at a temperature of 12-14 ° C, paired with risotto with seafood.
