wine description

Coteaux du Giennois Blanc is a dry white wine. It is produced in the Loire valley and more precisely in the central wine region. Administratively, it can be produced in the Loiret and Nièvre departments. Its terroir benefits from a degraded oceanic climate and siliceous gravelly soils, sandy silt, flint pebbles, sandstone and limestone. The Sauvignon Blanc grape is the only grape that can be used to make Coteaux du Giennois white wine.

tasting notes

A pale yellow color, very green reflections, a crystalline clarity and brilliance. The nose reveals aromas of white pulp fruit, green apple, quince; citrus, lemon and pomelo; beautiful notes of white flowers, linden and acacia. The mouth is well structured, with a round and light but tense material, nice mineral finish.

aging capacity

Enjoyable wine, do not wait long even if it can sometimes reserve surprises.

small tips

Taste it at a temperature of 8 ° C. Excellent with oysters or other seafood
