Produced from Chardonnay grapes grown under the lutte raisonnèe regime from 15-year-old vines, in the 0.22Ha vineyard owned classified as Premier Cru Champ Canet, in Puligny-Montrachet. In the cellar the wines of the Domaine Pernot Belicard are vinified in the traditional way, by carrying out alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in a Burgundian piece (35% new), where they stay for a year. Before bottling the wines rest in steel tanks for a further six months. Expected very light filtration before bottling.
Intense straw yellow color. It reveals a floral and fruity bouquet, with hints of ripe white pulp fruit that are enriched by a pleasant minerality. On the palate it is fresh, supported by a nice acidic shoulder and with an excellent persistence.
Wine with good aging potential.
Taste it at a temperature of 12-14 ° C. Ideal with fish-based preparations or soft cheeses. Try it with Brie.
