Beaune Clos des Renardes of Domaine Fanny Sabre comes from Chardonnay grapes grown on clayey and calcareous soils. The approach in the vineyard is respectful and agriculture without chemicals in the vineyard is the approach with which the certified organic domaine works. The wines are then aged for at least a year in one of the rooms that was once a warehouse that contained gunpowder. The wines are then placed in stainless steel vats for 3-4 months before being coarsely filtered and bottled by hand using a gravity bottle filler and manual cork.
Brilliant straw yellow with golden reflections. The nose is clean and very broad with notes of ripe fruit and sweet spices supported by a light smoky background given by the passage in wood. In the mouth it is round and dense from the first exciting impact to then continue with a very persistent finish where the hints of wood and fruity notes stand out.
