Friulano should not be confused with other homonyms, since its name derives from the “Tocai Friulano” vine, one of the most traditional and renowned in the area. Excellent between meals, in Collio it is the classic aperitif wine.
The manual harvest is carried out in the third decade of September, followed by vinification with cold cryomaceration, soft pressing, static decantation and fermentation 20% in oak barrels and 80% in stainless steel tanks.
It has a straw yellow color with golden reflections and a citrus scent, accompanied by hints of dried fruit flowers, the flavor is full, full-bodied, dry and harmonious.
Wine with good aging potential in the bottle
Taste it at a temperature of 12 ° C. It goes well with fish dishes, but also with grilled white meats. Particularly suitable to accompany the local raw ham, even when slightly smoked.
