Les Enseignières is located just below the Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru. Despite its name, Villages rivals the Premiers Crus. A citrus nose with notes of exotic fruit and pink grapefruit that are also elegantly present in the mouth. Accurate and long, this wine represents the quintessence of Puligny-Montrachet.
Bright gold in color with greenish highlights that intensify with age, the nose is intense and elegant, with fruity and floral hints of hawthorn, marzipan, hazelnuts, lemongrass and green apple. There are also typical buttery notes of chardonnay, mineral notes like flint and honey. In the mouth it has character, it is well defined and concentrated. Very long persistence.
Wine with good aging potential.
Taste it at a temperature of 12-14 ° C. Excellent with poultry in sauce or veal, foie gras, lobster and grilled or fried sea fish. Also try with goat cheeses like Reblochon or soft cheeses like Brie de Meaux.
