In the Tiare company, those selected in the area from old vineyards have always been preferred over the international framework where the French clones are more present, this selection is particularly interesting because it is characterized by an above-average aromatic potential.

Wine Description

Tiare il Sauvignon by Roberto Snidarcig from the company of the same name in Dolegna del Collio, close to the Italian-Slovenian border, was awarded the Gold Medal and the Special Trophy at the 5th edition of the Sauvignon World Competition, held in Bordeaux. This is the first ever recognition of this magnitude that is given to an Italian wine. Tiare stood out for its elegance and character among the 751 samples examined, presented to the prestigious competition by 473 companies from 21 countries around the world.

The manual harvest is carried out in the first and second ten days of September according to the position of the vine. Cold cryomaceration, soft pressing, static decantation and fermentation in stainless steel tanks; 20% carries out the malolactic fermentation.

Tasting Notes

In the glass it has a beautiful straw color with greenish reflections. The intense and characteristic aroma recalls elderberry, broom, pink grapefruit and mango, in perfect harmony. On the palate it is fresh, with excellent structure and gritty.

Small Tips

Taste it at a temperature of 12 ° C. It goes well with risotto with first fruits, substantial and elaborate first courses. Particularly suitable to accompany seafood and shellfish.
