The Puligny-Montrachet AOC 1er cru of the Domaine Glantenay comes from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Les Folatieres parcel from an area of around 0.4 hectares in the municipality of Puligny Montrachet from vines planted in 1958, cultivated on clay and limestone soils. The approach in the vineyard is respectful of nature and traditional. The wine is aged for 12 months in barrique (new wood for aging 30%) and is assembled in stainless steel tanks before putting it in glass. Beautiful plot and from here an interesting and bewitching wine.
Brilliant and fascinating golden in the glass. Ample the olfactory profile with notes of honey, linden, hawthorn and chamomile, fresh almond and butter. Velvety on the palate, it has great sapidity in the backbone and is animated by a crystalline acidity. Articulated and complex beyond measure.
Wine with very good evolutionary capacities.
Taste it at a temperature of 12 ° C with fish and shellfish dishes.
