The Saint Romain Blanc 2020 of the Domaine Barolet-Pernot Pere et Fils, is born from grapes coming from vineyards cultivated on soils where the thin mixture of limestone, clay and marl, combined with the natural undulation of the hills, reveals a wide range of terroirs that promise incomparable moments and unforgettable flavors.

Wine description

The terroir on which the vineyards thrive is undoubtedly a geologist's paradise. The vines occupy a sloping site where they benefit from excellent soils. This mixture of limestone and marl includes patches of clay that are particularly suited to the Chardonnay grape. The vineyards are exposed to South / South-East and North / North-East at altitudes ranging from 280 to almost 400 meters.

Tasting notes

In the glass it is pale golden, with hints of white flowers and light citrus notes against a mineral background. In the mouth it expresses freshness and flavor, well balanced by a soft and tasty taste. It finishes on precise mineral finishes that give it excellent drinkability and elegance.

Aging capacity

It remains "alive" for 5-6 years after being marketed.

Taste it at a temperature of 12 °, with dishes with white fish sauce and shellfish.
